Monu Kumar, a new generation Kangra miniature artist associated with KAPS, won third prize in Kangra Miniature painting competition held by the Himachal Pradesh Language, Art and Culture Academy. Monu was presented this award by Prof Prem Kumar Dhumal, the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh at an award ceremony held on 22nd Dec, 2011 at the Vidhan Sabha in Dharamshala.
